Pricing and quotes
How are retainers priced when niches differ in difficulty?
Quotes reflect publisher scarcity, editorial standards, and whether the brief needs original research for digital PR. A crowded consumer niche with many mid-tier sites costs less per placement than a regulated vertical with few trustworthy outlets. We share tier assumptions in the proposal so finance teams can model margins.
Do you sell one-off placements outside a monthly retainer?
Yes, for defined projects such as a launch sprint or a single story package. One-off work still requires onboarding, brand safety rules, and QA. The unit price is usually higher than retainer rates because research cannot be amortized across months.
What payment schedules and currencies do you support?
Most clients pay monthly in arrears or on a net-15 invoice in USD. MXN invoicing is available for Mexican entities when accounting requires it. Wire, card, and approved procurement portals are fine once compliance clears the vendor file.
Are publisher fees itemized separately from service fees?
Retainers usually bundle research, outreach, writing, and placement costs into a single monthly figure for predictability. For larger digital PR buys we can itemize media costs when your procurement policy requires a pass-through line.
What changes a quote after the kickoff call?
New excluded domains, sudden URL changes, heavier legal review, or a shift from guest content into newsroom PR can revise scope. We pause delivery, send a change order, and only resume after written approval.
Quality and safety
Which inventory types are permanently off-limits?
Private blog networks, expired-domain magazines with unrelated histories, sitewide footer schemes, and hacked injects are banned. We also reject thin translation farms that only exist to sell Spanish anchors.
How do you handle sponsored disclosure and rel attributes?
We follow the publisher’s house rules. When a placement is compensated, we expect honest labeling and accurate rel values such as sponsored when appropriate. Hiding paid relationships is not a service we offer.
Can you work inside brand-safety blocklists from legal?
Yes. Share category blocks, competitor adjacency rules, and any political or adult adjacency constraints before outreach starts. Those rules live in the tracker so freelancers cannot improvise.
What language QA exists for Mexican Spanish versus Spain Spanish?
Drafts aimed at Mexican audiences are reviewed for local vocabulary, formal address, and currency or regulatory references. We avoid Spain-only forms unless the brief explicitly targets Spain.
How are toxic or dropped links handled after delivery?
Qualifying drops inside the replacement window are remade on a comparable publisher. If a domain later becomes spammy, we document it, stop reuse, and discuss cleanup options without rushing to disavow.
Process
What does the first two weeks of onboarding include?
We confirm target URLs and locales, gather brand voice samples, load exclusions, align on google.com.mx as the default rank view when Mexico is the market, and approve a starter publisher shortlist before pitches go out.
Who approves drafts before they go live?
You can choose light-touch QA where we publish within agreed claim limits, or a formal approval gate for regulated copy. Flagship digital PR stories almost always include a client review step.
How are anchors selected without stuffing commercial phrases?
Strategists provide preferred ranges; editors adapt them to natural Spanish sentences. Exact-match commercial anchors are capped. Branded and descriptive anchors fill the rest so the profile stays readable.
What artifacts ship in the monthly report?
Live URLs, dates, targets, anchors, attributes, screenshots, indexation checks, and a short narrative on blockers. Agencies on white-label plans receive a rebrandable version of the same packet.
How do city-level campaigns differ from national briefs?
City work leans on regional publishers, local proof points, and landing pages tuned for metros such as CDMX, Guadalajara, or Monterrey. National briefs emphasize wider newsrooms and category sites. Mixed programs are common.
Agencies
Will our team ever contact our end client directly?
Not for solicitation. White-label agreements keep your brand front-facing. Direct contact happens only when you explicitly introduce us for a joint workshop or legal escalation.
Can multiple agency brands share one fulfillment pod?
Yes, with separate trackers, folders, and reporting skins. We prevent cross-client publisher collisions when two competing brands should not appear in the same editorial neighborhood.
Do you train our account managers on Spanish SERP reporting?
We offer onboarding sessions covering google.com.mx versus google.com, attribute mixes, and how to explain relevance to stakeholders. Recording links stay in your workspace.
What SLAs apply to white-label revision cycles?
Standard revise-and-resubmit windows are documented per tier. Urgent legal changes jump the queue. Chronic brief thrash may pause the SLA until scope is restated.
How do you prevent footprint concentration across resold campaigns?
Diversity caps limit how often a single site family appears across your book of business. We rotate hosts and topical categories, then show concentration stats in QBRs.
Reporting
Which rank tracker settings do you recommend for Mexican demand?
Track google.com.mx with Spanish language settings for commercial KPIs. Keep google.com as a secondary view for global brand terms. Annotate local pack presence so teams do not misread organic-only charts.
Can reports feed our Looker or Data Studio stack?
Yes. We can provide CSV exports or sheet syncs with stable column names. API pushes are available on larger retainers after a short schema review with your data team.
How do you attribute digital PR versus steady editorial work?
PR clips and guest placements are tagged separately. Reports show both counts and qualitative notes so executives see story impact without mixing it into routine delivery math.
What leading indicators matter before rankings move?
Indexation of new URLs, referral quality, brand search lift in Mexico, and engagement on localized landing pages often move first. We surface those signals monthly so patience has evidence.
How long do you keep screenshot and HTML archives?
Campaign archives remain available for at least twelve months after the engagement month, longer on enterprise contracts. That history supports replacements and compliance reviews.
